I was diagnosed with generalised Seronegative
MG at the age of 36 after 3 months of
investigations.
I found it very hard “being a patient”, needing
treatment, feeling vulnerable and having an
invisible rare condition that people don’t
understand.
My greatest triumph with MG has been
conducting research that features the voices of
people with MG. Having student projects and
presenting the findings at national conferences
including the MG conference in Sydney 2023.

I want everyone to know that MG is different for
everyone.
When people with MG say they need to rest, I
wish people would respect that and understand
that the rest is needed to manage MG.
