My illness crept up on me slowly, it took me 2
years to realise something was seriously
wrong. Once I started searching for answers it
took 5 months to reach the diagnosis of
Myasthenia Gravis. I was 45.
My greatest challenges with MG have been the
vision impairment and whole-body weakness.
Despite MG I have raised my two boys into fine
men. I celebrate every day that I continue to
function, especially when I really think I cannot.
I would like everyone to know that just
because you cannot see it and I look ok,
doesn't mean everything is ok.
