Oh MG Chloe Wigg
Join us to hear Oh MG artist Chloe Wigg, talk about all things art, community and advocacy, at Lockyer Valley Art Gallery.
Oh MG is an art exhibition raising awareness for the rare autoimmune disease Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Chloe uses everyday items, medication bottles, to create a poignant statement about the fragility of life with an autoimmune disease. Oh MG explores themes of hope despite adversity and uses story telling to invite the viewer into the world of those living with MG.
Chloe's stunning wall drape titled "Held in the drift" is a celebration community and the power of art to both unite and and educate. Created as a result of The Crochet Snowflake Project, which encouraged those with MG to reach out to their broader community to create snowflakes together.
